The project was for us to move in after the builders had completed the structural aspects, and design a living space that didn’t feel like a loft bedroom room.
We built a wall between the main sleeping area to provide a ‘walk around’ clothing storage area, making full use of the eaves space, boarding and plastering all walls and ceilings.
We fitted a bathroom area with toilet, partially hidden by vertical oak timbers, to give a back drop for the freestanding bath.
